Trains will be appearing in Arlington Heights this summer
Update: Update: 32 fiberglass trains will be displayed in Arlington Heights in June. The trains will be displayed all over
town including Harmony Park, North School Park, and area businesses.
32 Local businesses and organization purchased a 4″ by 2.5″ fiberglass trains (think Ponies on Parade or the Chicago Cows) from the Arlington Heights village anniversary committee. The cost for these trains was $995 so that the business or organization could paint the trains and display.
Look for these trains at places like the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, Arlington Park, the Arlington Heights library and park district, several law firms and dental office.
The design must incorporate a hidden 125th anniversary logo as well as the name of the sponsoring group and the artist. The designs had to be approved by the committee.
