2nd Arlington Heights Teen Charged

Last week we posted a blog (including the video) of a Chicago high school student’s beating.  An Arlington Heights student was one of the juveniles charged in the Bridgeport attack.  On Monday his 15-year-old brother was arrested and joined his 16-year-old brother in court on Tuesday on charges of robbery, aggravated battery, theft, and mob action.

The Arlington Heights juvenile was the 8th teenager charged in the attack of the Curie High School student.

After an initial court appearance last week, the teens had been released to their parents. On Tuesday, the judge ordered them back into custody until each could be fitted with an electronic ankle bracelet and then re-released on home confinement.

The Arlington Heights students had lived in Chicago until this past fall, when their mother moved them to Arlington Heights after they were allegedly victims of an assault.
