Man dies after pulled from burning car in Park Ridge
A Park Ridge man died after he was found inside a burning car about six blocks from his house.
The 46-year-old man was discovered late Wednesday in the 100 block of North Aldine Avenue, less than a mile from his house, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:47 p.m., a medical examiner’s spokeswoman said.
Park Ridge police said they would release details on the incident later this morning. An autopsy is scheduled for later today.
