Prospect Students Make Blankets for Cancer Patients

Prospect Students Make BlanketsThe November 18, 2010 Knights’ Way topic was “Get Involved.” Part of this topic was for each Prospect High School student, during his or her 2nd period class, to be actively involved in making a fleece blanket. These fleece blankets were given to Alexian Brothers Hospital Oncology Department for their cancer patients to use during chemotherapy.

All students at Prospect High School recently took part in tying fleece blankets together during the “Knights’ Way” portion of their day.

The 88 blankets were presented to representatives of the Cancer Institute at Alexian Brothers during the “Coaches Vs. Cancer” benefit basketball games on Dec. 2.
